AAM Murakami Exhibition Gala-
Lead Event Coordinator, Vendor Manager,
Talent Manager and Assistant Designer
As the lead event coordinator for the Takashi Murakami gala with the Asian Art Museum team, I spearheaded a comprehensive planning and execution process. Collaborating closely with the museum team, we meticulously designed an immersive experience that celebrated the renowned artist's work.
The planning phase involved in-depth consultations with the Asian Art Museum team to understand their vision and goals. We crafted a detailed event plan encompassing logistics, timeline, and budget considerations. Negotiations with vendors and partners were conducted to secure elements such as catering, entertainment, and event technology.
Executing the gala involved overseeing a range of tasks, from coordinating event setup to managing guest arrivals. Seamless communication with the catering team ensured the culinary experience aligned with the gala's theme. I also liaised with the production team to integrate lighting and visual elements that complemented Murakami's vibrant aesthetic.
As part of the execution, I monitored the event flow, addressing any unforeseen challenges promptly. Collaborating with the museum's PR team, we ensured effective media coverage, elevating the gala's visibility. The result was a successful event that not only showcased Takashi Murakami's art but also provided attendees with an unforgettable and culturally rich experience at the Asian Art Museum.
